Process Development Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer in advanced metal fabrication, and they are looking for an experienced Process Development Engineer to drive fabrication process development, lead new program launches, and support continuous improvement across production.

If you are a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, this role will put you at the center of technical decision-making.

• Lead fabrication process development for new programs and ECNs
• Review drawings, support APQP, and provide DFM/GD&T expertise
• Define tooling, equipment, and process parameters
• Coordinate pilot builds and ensure flawless launch into production
• Lead tooling validation, run?at?rate, PPAP, and capability studies
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues; drive root cause analysis
• Develop standardized work, operator instructions, and training
• Support OEE improvements, CI initiatives, and lean manufacturing efforts

• 10+ years in metal fabrication (automotive preferred)
• Strong experience with tooling, fixtures, and fabrication equipment
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, GD&T, SPC, SQC
• CAD experience (Creo, AutoCAD) and solid MS Office skills
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership abilities
• Experience with tube bending is a strong asset
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is an advantage
