Fortis Life Sciences is hiring a Manufacturing Technician II for their Toronto operations. This full-time position involves key roles in the manufacturing process for vital healthcare products.
Working with International Point of Care Inc. (IPOC), you will be integral to the production of blood plasma separation membranes, focusing on quality control and efficient processes. Candidates should have solid manufacturing backgrounds along with excellent troubleshooting abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct formulation and in-process testing of membranes
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and internal guidelines
• Keep accurate records of manufacturing documentation
• Assist in equipment setup and maintenance
• Support inventory tracking and safety compliance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in science or technical field
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or regulated environment
• Experience with manufacturing equipment and basic troubleshooting
• Familiarity with quality systems and documentation
• Reliable ability to lift and handle materials as required
