Day Shift SMT Operator at OSI Systems

Take on the role of SMT Operator with OSI Systems, focusing on the assembly of flexible printed circuits. This day shift position is key to ensuring product excellence and quality.

As part of OSI Electronics, PFC Flexible Circuits is seeking a dedicated SMT Operator to work from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. You will operate and monitor a variety of SMT equipment while adhering to established quality guidelines. This role is crucial to the manufacturing workflow, ensuring that all assemblies meet rigorous standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and set up SMT stencil printers and pick-and-place units

• Conduct regular quality inspections using AOI and X-Ray

• Prepare and validate component feeds against BOMs

• Troubleshoot and fix SMT equipment issues where necessary

• Maintain workspace cleanliness and equipment upkeep

Requirements:

• High school diploma desired but not required

• Experience with SMT and electronic assembly processes preferred

• Ability to read assembly instructions and travelers

• Strong attention to SMT quality standards

• Good manual dexterity and handling skills for circuits
