As a senior technical leader, this role drives the development of woven fabrics from concept to commercialization while ensuring sustainability and cost-effectiveness. You will mentor and guide Fabric Developers, overseeing multiple material initiatives and aligning with design and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical woven fabric development across product categories
• Create actionable fabric development briefs from design direction
• Innovate new materials, yarns, and technologies
• Assess risk and ensure quality during commercialization
• Provide daily technical guidance to Fabric Developers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Science or related field
• 6-8 years in performance woven fabric development
• Experience with mills and fabric suppliers
• Knowledge of PLM and ERP systems
• Understanding of sustainable materials and industry innovations
