Position Overview

Mad Engine Global is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Domestic Production Coordinator to support our production team in managing end-to-end domestic production processes. This role will play a key part in ensuring timely execution of production orders, maintaining quality standards, and supporting high-volume programs across mass-market retail and licensed apparel.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has strong follow-up skills, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities Production Coordination
  • Support the day-to-day management of domestic production orders from development through final delivery.
  • Track production timelines to ensure on-time delivery and escalate any delays or risks.
  • Maintain and update WIP (Work in Progress) reports and production trackers.
  • Coordinate sample flow, approvals (proto, SMS, TOP), and production milestones.
Vendor & Factory Communication
  • Communicate daily with domestic vendors and factories to monitor order status and resolve issues.
  • Assist in managing relationships with local manufacturers to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time performance.
  • Follow up on purchase orders, production updates, and shipping schedules.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product Development, Technical Design, Sourcing, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment on production timelines and requirements.
  • Support Sales and Planning teams by providing production updates and delivery visibility.
  • Coordinate with Compliance teams to ensure all production meets company and retailer standards.
Data & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate production data in internal systems (ERP/WIP trackers).
  • Generate reports on production status, delivery timelines, and vendor performance.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce delays.
Qualifications
  • 2–5 years of experience in production, sourcing, or supply chain coordination (apparel industry preferred).
  • Experience working with domestic production and local vendors in Canada.
  • Strong understanding of production calendars, garment construction, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
