Sanitation Specialist

Our client, a food manufacturing and production environment, is seeking a Sanitation Specialist to join their team. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be part of the plant operations team supporting production and packing areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to cleanliness, a safety-first mindset, and the drive to follow food safety standards with consistency.

Job Title: Sanitation Specialist

Location: North York, ON

Pay Range: $22.65 + shift premium

Shift: 3 shift rotation

What's the Job?

• Assist with the timely and properly clean-up of equipment, machinery, floors, and utensils across all areas of the plant.
• Support the Line Leader by cleaning production and packing lines as needed.
• Ensure timely garbage removal to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure all equipment, machinery, utensils, and plant areas are cleaned properly according to SOPs.
• Operate a Sky Jack to clean hard-to-reach areas safely and effectively.

What's Needed?

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Strong understanding and commitment to GMPs and Health and Safety Regulations.
• Ability to perform responsibilities under strict BRC food safety standards.
• Willingness to follow SOPs closely and maintain consistent sanitation practices.
• Completion of the required Canada Criminal Record Check (CRC) (National).
