CNC Machinist - Vertical Lathe North York

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to report to the Plant Manager. You will set up and operate CNC Vertical Lathes, machining complex components according to precise specifications. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate large CNC Vertical Lathes

• Interpret engineering drawings for machining tasks

• Pre-inspect parts for compliance and accuracy

• Maintain, calibrate, and clean precision measuring instruments

• Perform daily machine checks and preventive maintenance

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of CNC machining experience

• Proficient with Fanuc, Heidenheim or Siemens controls

• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications

• Familiarity with OHSA safety practices

• Willingness to work extended hours as needed
