This Cabinetmaker role requires five years or more of experience and no formal degree, certificate, or diploma. Work includes cabinets, built-in units, doors, door frames, millwork, kitchen cabinets, and vanities. Accuracy and organized work support finished products.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers
- Shape wood surfaces and edges with hand tools
- Study plans, specifications, and production drawings
- Operate CADD and other computer software systems
- Assemble, sand, finish, and reinforce wooden components
- Five years or more of cabinetmaking experience
- Valid driver's licence
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to handle up to 9 kilograms
Use cabinetmaking expertise, CADD, and finishing skills to produce accurate millwork and fitted wood components on site.
