Operate industrial flat lock machines in Scarborough, Ontario, using stretch-fabric expertise and precise stitching to create comfortable active wear seams.
Sew Industries Inc. seeks an experienced Flat Lock Machine Operator for full-time garment production. You will work with stretch, knit, and active wear fabrics while maintaining consistent stitch quality. The position requires machine operation, fabric construction knowledge, and careful seam inspection.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain industrial flat lock sewing machines
- Sew flat seams on stretch, knit, and active wear fabrics
- Thread machines and adjust tension settings
- Replace needles and inspect finished seams
- Meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- At least one year of sewing machine operation experience
- Hands-on experience operating a Flat Lock Machine
- Minimum high school diploma
- English language proficiency
- Strong attention to detail and repetitive-task ability
