Use straight-needle sewing expertise as an Apparel Sample Maker with Cintas in Toronto, constructing high-quality garment samples. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity.
Cintas seeks an Apparel Sample Maker to construct and sew samples while supporting small-lot cutting as needed. You will follow verbal and written English instructions from technical packages for garment construction. The position works closely with Technical Design, providing positive suggestions that improve sewing productivity and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Construct and sew top-quality apparel samples
- Operate a straight-needle sewing machine
- Support small-lot cutting as needed
- Follow technical package garment-construction instructions
- Suggest improvements to productivity and product quality
- Proficiency using a straight-needle sewing machine
- Ability to follow verbal English instructions
- Ability to read written English instructions
- Experience cutting and sewing garments
- Buttonhole and hemming machinery proficiency preferred
