Own New Product Introduction at EXACT, advancing production readiness, test fixtures, and manufacturing documentation from downtown Toronto.
This Manager, Hardware and Production Engineering role leads products from engineering into dependable, repeatable production. You will manage a small engineering team while owning production engineering activities. Your work supports pilot builds, manufacturing release, testing, materials, and scale.
Key Responsibilities:- Own NPI, pilot builds, production readiness, and manufacturing release
- Develop and validate production test jigs and fixtures
- Control bills of materials, drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Coordinate suppliers and Supply Chain on material readiness
- Investigate production issues, identify causes, and implement corrections
- Experience moving physical products from development into manufacturing
- Experience with production testing, fixtures, and manufacturing documentation
- Practical BOM, engineering change, and document control knowledge
- Supplier and supply chain experience supporting sourcing and materials
- Systematic problem-solving and sound electrical-mechanical judgment
