Manufacturing Shift Leader

Lead manufacturing operators at Mondelēz International’s Gladstone site in Toronto, using line leadership and technical maintenance expertise. Work a 12-hour continental shift.

This likely first managerial role oversees daily manufacturing activities for one of Mondelēz’s brands. You will deliver safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets while developing operators and supporting productivity programs. The position requires systematic thinking, workforce planning, and effective communication.

• Lead operators to achieve daily production goals
• Manage day-to-day manufacturing activities for assigned lines
• Break down section targets into line and unit targets
• Develop teams through recruitment, retention, and succession planning
• Support department productivity programs and loss elimination

• Bachelor’s degree or related education
• One to five years’ food manufacturing experience
• Experience leading line teams and operators
• Knowledge of autonomous and progressive maintenance systems
• Ability to influence people in union environments
