What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Oversee the in-house Corporate Communications team and agency partners

Execute U.S.

-focused corporate communications strategies, managing proactive storytelling and addressing critical issues

Develop and manage executive thought‑leadership appearances at major events

Create compelling narratives that reinforce WEBTOON’s leadership in digital entertainment and storytelling innovation

Build and nurture relationships with top U.S. journalists and media outlets to promote WEBTOON’s story

What is Required (Qualifications)

10+ years in Public Relations roles, with experience in public companies

Proven ability in supporting Investor Relations functions and drafting key financial messaging

Deep expertise managing corporate communications with U.S. national and financial press

Strong strategic thinking skills to translate business needs into actionable PR strategies

Exceptional writing, communication, and PR practice standards with strong attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Experience navigating communications related to regulatory bodies and complex legal matters

Ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships with diverse stakeholders

Comfort with data and analytics to inform PR strategies and pitching approaches

Calm under pressure with a proven track record in crisis management

Strong negotiation skills and compelling communication abilities
