The Canadian communications team seeks a strategic storyteller passionate about media relations and influencer marketing. The role involves creating impactful, customer-centric stories for the press and executing influencer campaigns that highlight the business benefits of technology. The candidate will work cross-functionally with global partners to support external communications for the Canadian market.
Principal Communications Manager - PR & Story Telling - Responsibilities:
• Play a key role in the PR function in Canada and LATAM, supporting and optimizing the PR strategy to build the product brand.
• Develop strategic media relationships and craft compelling PR stories aligned with the company narrative.
• Drive and execute the product Canada influencer strategy, including campaign development and measurement.
• Collaborate on integrated delivery of media relations, internal communications, and influencer programs.
• Support and manage PR and influencer agencies to execute the communications strategy.
• Support news announcements and develop data storytelling, customer storytelling, and executive thought leadership.
• Help build measurability into PR and influencer programs to improve efficiency and impact.
Principal Communications Manager - PR & Story Telling - Mandatory
Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in PR, media relations, social, and influencer marketing.
• Prior ownership of external communications for a brand or business.
• Experience leading end-to-end PR and thought leadership campaigns.
• Outstanding media relations skills with a proven track record.
• Solid understanding of the Canadian media landscape.
• Data-backed understanding of PR measurement and reporting.
• Excellent copywriting skills and experience in customer-centric communications.
Principal Communications Manager - PR & Story Telling – Nice-to-Have
Skills:
• Experience in B2B influencer campaigns.
• Deep understanding of full-funnel metrics.
• Skilled verbal & visual storyteller.
• Great people skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and adapt to change.
