Purpose of Job:
The Sr. Programmatic Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day campaign activity for your assigned brands and campaigns. You have experience in both programmatic strategy and planning as well as the tactical execution of campaigns across multiple DSPs. You will own the account management, service, planning, setup and activation of your respective programmatic campaigns for your assigned clients.
The Sr. Programmatic Manager develops positive relationships with Junior and Senior agency partners and clients while using multiple programmatic platforms to develop, activate and report on digital media campaigns. This is an interdisciplinary role that combines client service, planning, execution, and optimization of client’s investment to deliver impactful results across all programmatic channels.
The Sr Programmatic Manager thinks beyond their campaign assignments and generates new ideas and solutions to help the wider programmatic business. They provide support to the Programmatic Managers, consulting on Programmatic best practices, strategy and tactical execution and optimisation.
Duties
- Ensure campaign timelines are adhered at every step of the process – plan deadlines, creative trafficking, go-live date
- Project and account management of campaign from beginning to end – from initial briefings, planning, platform(s) setup and go-live to post reporting
- Leads discussions about potential campaigns and attends new campaign briefings, including assisting agency with the RFP on assigned campaigns
- Manages complex campaign set up for assigned campaigns and provides consultation to Programmatic managers on their campaign set up.
- Seeks opportunities for innovation and test and learns on assigned clients, bringing new opportunities to the agency and client.
- Use programmatic background and knowledge of DSP capabilities to build smart programmatic plans for the client, delivering best in class programmatic strategy.
- Demonstrates expertise across different platforms and ensures all media plan requirements are correctly communicated to all relevant teams including trading (DSPs), financial (Media Ocean), proprietary tools and analytics/reporting. Acts as a resource for Programmatic Managers and coordinators.
- Use optimization tools and resources to hit performance goals. Ensuring full delivery on campaigns and recommend alternatives to deliver when the need arises
