We’re building the infrastructure that powers the rental economy across the US and Canada, and we’re looking for a SEO and AEO Content Manager to help us scale it.
The TeamThe Single Key marketing team is focused on lifecycle, growth, and demand generation, with a strong emphasis on execution and measurable impact. We work cross-functionally to plan, launch, and optimize integrated campaigns that support both self-serve and sales-assisted funnels.
As part of the marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market partners to increase awareness among housing providers, capture and convert in-market demand, and ensure Single Key remains top-of-mind throughout the rental journey.
The RoleReporting to the Head of Marketing, the SEO and AEO Content Manager will be responsible for advancing Single Key’s organic and AI Search strategy, with a direct impact on visibility, qualified traffic, and conversion performance.
This role requires someone who can define direction and execute independently. You’ll be expected to balance long‑term strategy with hands‑on delivery, driving meaningful growth across traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery surfaces.
You’ll have significant autonomy and ownership, along with clear accountability for decisions, timelines, and outcomes tied to your work.
You Will- Own the SEO and AEO roadmap end to end, including execution, competitive analysis, reporting, and performance across multiple geographies, while setting and delivering against ambitious organic growth and top‑of‑funnel acquisition goals.
- Lead both the strategy and execution of high‑impact on‑page SEO initiatives, including programmatic SEO hubs, blog content, product and feature pages, and tools designed to support the full funnel. You’ll operate as the strategist, project manager, and editorial lead on these initiatives—not just identifying keywords, but shaping how content is built and delivered.
- Actively contribute to content production by writing, optimizing, and refining content yourself, while also partnering closely with our writing team. You’ll collaborate with our PR agency, social, and product teams to ensure content delivers real value to our audiences and encourages repeat engagement over time.
- Build and manage a sustainable, white‑hat backlink and citation strategy, while monitoring brand mentions and sentiment across the web and AI surfaces. You’ll focus on earning coverage from credible, relevant sources and staying aware of how Single Key is represented across the ecosystem.
- Partner with web and engineering teams to support strong site performance, contributing to decisions around technical and structural improvements. While you don’t need to be a technical SEO specialist, you should be comfortable collaborating closely to prioritize fixes and enhancements that improve crawlability, performance, and overall site health.
- Plan and run ongoing SEO experiments across the site, including testing page structure, headings, schema, FAQs, internal linking, and titles. You understand that incremental improvements compound over time and are disciplined about testing and iteration.
- Ensure Organic and AI Search initiatives are executed with clarity and follow‑through, delivering projects on time, within scope, and with measurable outcomes tied back to business goals.
