7 Knots Digital partners with leading B2B media and event organizations to drive audience growth, registrations, and engagement across some of the largest trade shows globally. We operate at the intersection of data, content, and performance marketing, delivering measurable outcomes for our clients.
We are seeking a hands‑on Campaign Manager with deep email marketing expertise and experience supporting B2B events and trade shows. This role combines persona‑driven messaging strategy with campaign execution and marketing automation ownership.
This is not a general content role. We are looking for someone who understands the urgency, complexity, and conversion dynamics of event marketing and can execute campaigns end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities- Develop persona-based messaging frameworks tailored to distinct B2B audience segments
- Write segmented, high-conversion email campaigns aligned to vertical and role‑specific buyer profiles
- Translate event value propositions into compelling content for different industries and executive-level decision makers
- Align messaging strategy with segmentation strategy to improve open rates, CTR, and registration conversion
- Own and execute email campaigns for B2B trade shows and conferences (registration launches, early‑bird promotions, speaker announcements, agenda releases, sponsor spotlights, final calls, etc.)
- Develop and deploy nurture campaigns designed to increase registration and attendance
- Build and manage campaigns directly within Hub Spot, Marketo, or Mailchimp
- Define segmentation strategies and optimize subject lines, CTAs, and workflows
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations based on data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align messaging with audience targets and event goals
- Maintain brand consistency across large-scale global event portfolios
- Support landing page and related campaign copy as needed
- 3+ years of B2B email marketing and campaign management experience
- Proven experience writing persona-driven campaigns for segmented B2B audiences
- Strong understanding of buyer journeys and role-based messaging (C‑suite, VP, Director‑level audiences)
- Direct, hands‑on experience in Hub Spot, Marketo, or Mailchimp (platform execution required)
- Experience supporting B2B trade shows, conferences, or large-scale industry events
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalization, and marketing automation
- Proven ability to manage multiple event-driven campaigns simultaneously
- Experience targeting executive-level decision makers across technology, finance, healthcare, or government sectors
- Experience working with global trade show brands
- Background in lifecycle campaign development and automation strategy
- Familiarity with reporting dashboards and performance analysis
- Experience mentoring junior writers or contributing to campaign strategy
Compensation will be based on experience and seniority.
Expected range: CAD $30–$60 per hour
