Job Overview
This role is responsible for the timely communication with internal and external customers related to event and advertising sales, including the fulfillment of sales for customers and strategic partnerships. This role is also responsible for the ongoing management of account records in the customer relationship management system. Finally, this role manages key reporting and tracking for the team related to lead management, sales management, and marketing performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supports the sales process by providing updates to the team related to inventory, trackers, reports, leads, and sales materials:
Collaborates with the Marketing & Communications Team to create and deploy campaigns to gain leads and sales.
Drives lead acquisition and lead capture efforts specific to in-house advertising campaigns and products.
Collaborates with the Marketing & Communications Team to confirm advertising inventory.
Updates all sales materials, booking forms, applications, and contracts for circulation to the sales team and customers.
Plans and prepares Monthly Business Newsletter including content curation.
2. Creates and coordinates the scheduling of B2B Sales Calendar, including in-house ads and paid-advertising purchased by external customers:
Manages post sale communication with customers to collect advertising assets, editorial, and other related information.
Drafts and submits B2B specific creative briefs for creative production and deployment planning.
Collaborates with the Marketing & Communications Team to schedule deployment of in-house and paid ads.
Shares internal and external assets to Marketing & Communications Team, including target audience, duration, CTAs, promotional codes and direct links.
3. Lead Management:
Confirms accuracy of lead capture and assigns qualified leads to Account Managers to pursue for sales opportunities.
Updates the CRM system with account and contact records details including but not limited to changes to primary contacts, other connections, and contact information.
Generates regular lead list from the CRM system for account hygiene and reassignment.
Pulls list of accounts to confirm assignments and last outreach to initiate process of qualifying existing leads/accounts in the CRM system.
4. Team Reporting:
Updates team KPI tracking document with a primary focus on sales revenue, opportunities, leads, and marketing campaign performance.
Captures daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales tracker updates.
Creates the bi-weekly team meeting presentation slides with key reporting information.
Prepares post-campaign and post-event summary reports with key takeaways and opportunities.
