Responsibilities
  • Develop events for publicity, fundraising and information purposes
  • Develop communication strategies and policies; evaluate and implement them
  • Oversee preparation of public written materials, including reports, briefs and website content
  • Produce educational and publicity programs to awaken curiosity and interest in the subject matter
  • Write speeches, presentations and press releases; copywrite
  • Perform administrative tasks and advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
  • Answer written and oral inquiries; assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other materials
  • Coordinate special publicity events and promotions; gather, research, and prepare communications materials
  • Initiate and maintain contact with media; prepare and deliver educational, publicity and information programs, materials and sessions
  • Prepare sports, literary, performance or other contracts
  • Conduct analytical marketing studies; design market research questionnaires
  • Develop portfolio of marketing materials; conduct online marketing, e‑commerce and website promotions
  • Prepare funding applications; develop marketing strategies
  • Maintain and manage digital database; manage event logistics; supervise office and volunteer staff
  • Solicit event donors; set up and monitor multi‑media equipment; review bids and negotiate costs
  • Research and design special events programs; promote conference and meeting services or special events
  • Plan for documentation, pre‑ and post‑distribution, social events, guest programs, schedules, goals, objectives
  • Inspect and select sites; implement social programs, food, beverage, transportation and other services
  • Develop media strategies, registration systems and information materials; confirm and coordinate speakers
  • Assist in budget preparation; coordinate media services, set‑ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems
  • Coordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities; oversee webinars; develop sponsorship, partnership or fundraising programs
