The role of Sponsorship Marketing Coordinator, Pizza Pizza is a critical role to our marketing team, supporting the company vision to deliver profit, innovation and experience/engagement across all brand touch-points.
This role will be pivotal in providing impactful growth opportunities and breakthrough brand moments through our sponsorship/partnership portfolio.
What the Role Will Do:
Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Sponsor ships to assist in the daily management of a national sports and events sponsorship portfolio, including budgeting, contracts, activations and co-promotions
Maintain relationships with key sponsorship stakeholders at partner organizations (teams, event management companies) across Canada
Support creative and media for key sponsorship activations eg. Score a Slice Promotions. Coordinate with stakeholders internally and externally in executing programs
Assist with maintaining and updating tracking documents for key sponsorship activations, ensuring accurate documentation of key performance indicators (KPIs), results, and other relevant insights to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI
Maintain awareness of the sporting calendar and sports culture to brainstorm and execute relevant “in-the-moment” executions
Collaborate across the marketing team to create engagement and dialogue with social media audiences related to promotional or sponsorship calendar activity (not customer service). Work with internal and external creative partners to develop content
Assist in the management of Sponsorship budgets
Develop internal communications for the effective implementation of programs and adoption at the restaurant level
Identify and review new sponsorship or community engagement opportunities and provide recommendations
Your Requirements:
1 year of marketing and advertising experience. Sponsorship experience an asset
A keen interest in sports and sports sponsorship, knowledge of sporting calendars and culture
Proven experience executing sponsorship activation plans in media and events
Keen eye for detail and proofreading
Copywriting skills an asset
Food Service industry experience is an asset
Event planning and execution skills
Effectively handles a fast-paced environment with frequently changing needs and requests
Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and proactively to uncover opportunities to move the business forward
Solid presentation skills: ability to effectively influence an audience through fact-based analysis, confidence in recommendations, and a positive demeanour
Strong collaborator: seamlessly managing up and across teams to ensure buy-in, awareness of activity, and integration
A team player: works respectfully, inclusively, and positively
