About the Role

We are hiring a Conversion Copywriter/CRO Specialist to own the conversion layer between our ads and our customers.

Every ad we run sends traffic to a page on our website. Your job is to make sure that page converts.

Most landing pages fail because the person building them didn't do the research. They guess at what the customer cares about, write to a generic persona, and end up with a page that doesn't speak to anyone in particular. The starting point of this role is doing the work most people skip - talking to customers, mining reviews and support tickets, and studying session behavior.

Once you understand the specific customer and objection, only then can you solve the problem.

Solving it requires an individual with a combination of copywriting + visual instincts. A pure copywriter without visual instincts tends to default to walls of text. We want the customer's pain points addressed visually - through layout, imagery, hierarchy, and pacing - so the message lands in seconds.

Copywriting is the foundation. It's how you understand persuasion, objections, and what drives a buying decision. But the output is a page that communicates visually, grounded in real customer insight.

This role is built to grow. You'll start as an individual contributor owning the conversion layer end to end. As you prove out a repeatable system - research that surfaces the right insight, pages that convert, tests that compound - the path is to grow into a CRO Manager
: owning the full conversion engine, setting optimization strategy across the entire funnel. We’re hiring someone who wants to own the function, not just the task.

What You’ll Own
  • Run customer interviews, mine reviews, survey data, and support data, and analyze on‑page behavior to uncover the real pain points and objections behind each persona. This is the foundation of every page.
  • Design and ship landing pages for ad campaigns across the product line - pages that solve customer pain points visually, not with walls of text.
  • Own the visual logic of every page. Direct graphics, structure layout, pace the message, and use imagery to carry ideas that copy alone can't. Work with designers when needed, but the visual thinking starts with you.
  • Apply direct‑response principles to drive both conversion rate and AOV. Develop offers, bundles, and upsell mechanics that turn attention into higher‑value sales.
  • A/B Testing:
    Design and run structured tests on hooks, layouts, visuals, and offers. Every page has a hypothesis, a test, and a learning that compounds into the next.
Who You Are
  • 7+ years in marketing, with 3+ years in direct‑response or conversion‑focused copywriting as your foundation
  • Strong visual instincts. Your landing pages let visuals do the work, not just words
  • Sharp on offer construction: bundles, upsells, and hooks that lift AOV
  • Deep in customer research: interviews, review mining, behavioral data
  • Track record of A/B tests with clear hypotheses and real lift
  • Bias toward high‑impact work. You know the difference between activity and progress
  • Ambition to grow into a leadership role - you want to eventually own the CRO function and build a team, not stay heads‑down on execution forever
