About the RoleWe are seeking a highly strategic and creatively driven Head of Brand Marketing to lead our brand presence in the competitive Canadian iGaming market. You will own the brand strategy and creative direction across all digital media and social channels, ensuring our brand voice cuts through the noise while remaining strictly compliant. You will act as the central hub between our internal teams and external agency partners, driving top‑of‑funnel awareness, spearheading local events, and launching high‑impact brand activations.
CoreResponsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Creative Direction: Develop and execute a comprehensive, localized brand strategy. Oversee creative development across digital, social, and OOH channels to ensure a cohesive, engaging, and compliant brand identity.
- Agency Management: Lead and direct external creative, media, and experiential agencies. Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with core brand objectives.
- Campaign Execution: Plan and execute large‑scale, multi‑channel brand awareness campaigns tailored to the Ontario market.
- Events & Activations: Conceptualize and manage local events, sponsor ships, and experiential marketing activations to drive grassroots engagement and brand affinity.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work in lockstep with legal and compliance teams to ensure all brand communications, campaigns, and events strictly adhere to AGCO and iGaming Ontario (iGO) Marketing and Advertising Standards.
As a KPI‑driven role, your success will be measured by the following metrics:
- Brand Awareness & Sentiment: Lift in aided and unaided brand awareness, and positive shifts in brand sentiment within the Ontario demographic.
- Share of Voice: Growth in digital and social share of voice compared to key competitors in the Ontario market.
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) & CPA Impact: Effectiveness of brand spend in lowering overall Customer Acquisition Cost through improved top‑of‑funnel conversion rates.
- Social & Digital Engagement: Growth in follower count, engagement rates, and organic reach across primary social channels.
- Event ROI: Measurable impact of local activations, tracked via attendance, lead generation, media mentions, and associated promotional code redemptions.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of dedicated brand marketing experience preferably within the iGaming / sports betting industry.
- Creative & Strategy: Proven track record of spearheading creative direction and managing multi‑channel brand campaigns.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing external creative and media agencies, with a strong ability to negotiate and drive results.
