Salary Range:  60,000 - 80,000 CAD

Job Type:  Full time / Permanent

Work Arrangement:  At least four (4) days/week onsite, 37.5 hours a week

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and creative Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives for priority artists and releases in Canada. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of the Canadian music landscape, deep understanding of digital platforms and fan engagement, and a passion for building impactful, data-driven marketing campaigns.

You will oversee end-to-end campaign strategy, execution, and performance for artists and label partners—collaborating closely with teams across marketing, audience development, creative, and commercial. You’ll use insights, cultural understanding, and innovative marketing approaches to drive growth, visibility, and engagement across multiple genres and audiences.

This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that may occasionally require evening or weekend work to support global releases and time zones.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Marketing Leadership.

Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies for priority artists and releases across Canada.

Own campaign planning, rollout strategies, execution, and measurement—ensuring alignment with audience insights, platform trends, and KPIs.

Adapt global marketing strategies to local audiences while identifying unique opportunities for growth within the Canadian market.

Client & Partner Management

Act as the primary marketing point of contact for assigned artist, label, and management partners.

Provide strategic counsel and build strong relationships to drive long‑term value and campaign success.

Ensure consistent communication between Canadian teams and global stakeholders.

Creative Direction & Campaign Development

Conceptualize and execute creative, high‑impact marketing campaigns that resonate with Canadian audiences.

Develop innovative approaches to content, fan engagement, merchandising, influencer partnerships, and digital storytelling.

Stay connected to cultural trends, audience behavior, and key moments across the Canadian landscape.

Performance Analytics & Optimization

Track and analyze campaign performance across streaming, social, and digital platforms.

Present insights, results, and actionable recommendations to partners and internal teams.

Use data to inform content strategy, audience targeting, and campaign optimization.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with Paid Media, Audience Development, Creative, DSP/Commercial teams, CRM, and others to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.

Leverage proprietary tools, fan data, and creative assets to support audience growth and demand generation.

Innovation & Market Growth

Stay ahead of emerging platforms, trends, influencers, and fan behaviors within Canada.

Integrate new approaches in digital marketing, content development, and audience strategy.

Identify opportunities for partnerships, brand collaborations, and local market expansion.

Proactively identify potential new artist and label opportunities within the Canadian market and refer them to internal teams as appropriate.

Leadership & Internal Contribution

Contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and creative excellence

Who You Are:

5+ years of experience in music marketing, entertainment marketing, or brand strategy, with a proven track record of managing high‑impact campaigns.
