RoleReporting to the VP Marketing, the Director of Marketing, Direct Lending will lead strategic marketing for the Direct Lending Business, delivering annual targets and priorities. The role owns the full go‑to‑market strategy for our lending portfolio, collaborates with Digital Marketing and Creative Services, and drives transformation across key channels.
Key Responsibilities- Co‑create and lead the Direct Lending Pod with Analytics to formalize the model and drive growth.
- Translate business goals into actionable marketing strategies, identifying resources and execution requirements.
- Influence product development and customer experience through market insights and customer feedback.
- Manage a high‑performing team of marketers, providing coaching, feedback and development.
- Lead integrated go‑to‑market plans for new and existing lending products, ensuring alignment across brand, digital and sales enablement.
- Own the marketing contribution to annual lending targets, focusing on qualified leads and net new cash generation.
- Use data and analytics to optimize performance and inform future strategy.
- Modernize the Direct Mail program and evolve affiliate relationships to increase business results.
- Explore and scale new channels to reach target audiences effectively.
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in financial services or a regulated industry.
- Proven success in leading go‑to‑market strategies and delivering measurable business results.
- Deep understanding of lending products and acquisition marketing.
- Experience transforming traditional marketing channels, such as Direct Mail, into modern, data‑driven programs.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for testing, learning and optimizing.
