Manager, Product Support Marketing & Communications

Overview

In this role you will support the ongoing evolution and daily management of RBC Global Asset Management’s email marketing automation programs, and manage the production of client newsletters to align with the retail investor business priorities. The position involves identifying and driving go‑to‑market strategies, leveraging software thinking to translate business cases into technical requirements.

• Manage content generation, print and production processes for a portfolio of collateral, including quarterly client‑facing newsletters, ensuring all communications follow review and sign‑off processes and adhere to RBC GAM brand and editorial guidelines.
• Manage business‑as‑usual activities related to existing email marketing automation programs using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring stakeholder reviews and testing validation are performed accurately.
• Provide project management support to onboard new requirements or use cases for email marketing automation, including developing business requirements and other project artifacts.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert, supporting the evolution of strategy for internal and external email marketing automation distribution technologies, driving automation of content distribution and lead generation opportunities to influence sales activities.
• Manage change‑management activities for all email marketing automation programs, developing and delivering internal training requirements and best practices to sustain high adoption and engagement rates across teams.
• Collaborate effectively with teams across the organization—marketing, sales enablement, business technology, product, and marketing—to drive marketing production and email marketing requirements.
• Analyze and evolve: leverage data and analytics to measure platform adoption, content engagement, and lead value; report metrics in dashboards and provide recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.
• Engage regularly with other business lines/teams that use email marketing automation to support idea generation and share best practices.

• 2–3 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Specialist Certification preferred).
• Demonstrated knowledge of common marketing processes, including development of marketing briefs and overall material development.
• Demonstrated project management experience and ability to work with cross‑functional teams to meet tight timelines and handle multiple deliverables.
• Above‑average proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in delivering training.

The expected pay range for this position is $67,000 – $110,000. Compensation (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors such as candidate experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs. RBC supports pay transparency.
