Job Title: Marketing Manager

Department: Marketing and Communications

Reporting to: Interim Vice President, Marketing and Communications

Location: 191 New Toronto Street, Toronto, ON, M8V 2E7

Salary: $77, per year, commensurate with experience

Terms: 35 hours a week, Full‑Time, Hybrid (Minimum 2‑3 days On‑Site), Some weekend, evening and holiday work will be required.

Role Overview

The Marketing Manager plays a critical role in bringing the organization’s brand, campaigns, and stories to life. This position leads the planning, creative development, and execution of integrated marketing initiatives, manages creative and brand partners, and ensures high‑quality visual storytelling across channels. The role is hands‑on, collaborative, and well‑suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Campaign & Project Management
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, and experiential channels.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and on brief.
  • Work closely with internal teams (fundraising, advocacy, etc.) to align marketing efforts with organizational priorities.
Marketing & Brand Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, including creative, digital, and production partners.
  • Develop briefs, review creative concepts, and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Ensure all external work aligns with brand standards, strategic objectives, and budget parameters.
  • Maintain and champion brand standards, ensuring consistency across all marketing, communications, fundraising, advocacy, and public‑facing materials.
Graphic Design & Creative Management
  • Oversee the development of marketing and communications assets, including print, digital, and environmental materials.
  • Manage workflows with internal designers and/or freelance creatives.
  • Ensure visual consistency, quality, and accessibility across all marketing outputs.
Visual Storytelling & Video Production
  • Lead visual storytelling initiatives that highlight the organization’s impact, community, and mission.
  • Plan and manage video projects from concept through production and post‑production.
  • Coordinate photography and video shoots, including working with staff, volunteers, and external partners.
  • Ensure visual content is optimized for multiple platforms and audiences.
Event Marketing & Support
  • Support marketing and promotional needs for events, including fundraising, community, and stakeholder events.
