Working Hours: Full Time
Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
About the roleThis Director leads local DSP relationships, oversees data‑driven decision‑making, supports digital revenue forecasts with Finance and BI, and partners with Marketing, Digital Strategy, and ADA to translate consumption trends into commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Own and evolve streaming strategy with accountability for revenue growth, market share expansion, and value creation.
- Oversee and mentor a team of Streaming Partner Managers handling day‑to‑day relationships with key platforms.
- Represent the Streaming function in senior‑level meetings, providing strategic guidance.
- Maintain expertise in DSP business models, algorithms, and monetization mechanisms.
- Lead strategic planning for quarterly business reviews and partner strategy sessions.
- Stay informed on digital partner deals, licensing, and platform innovations.
- Monitor competitive dynamics, consumer demand shifts, economic indicators, and emerging trends.
- Provide senior‑level oversight to the Data Manager and Data & Insights function.
- Partner with Data Manager to translate streaming, sales, and audience data into actionable strategies.
- Guide forecasting model development aligned with business priorities and revenue targets.
- Ensure dashboards, reports, and OKR tracking deliver executive‑ready visibility.
- Leverage consumption insights to inform growth initiatives and strategy.
- Champion a data‑driven culture across Marketing, A&R, Digital Strategy, and Commercial teams.
- Review and pressure‑test strategic recommendations for clarity and alignment.
- Translate complex data insights into clear narratives for senior stakeholders.
- 8–10+ years in digital music, streaming strategy, audience analytics, or commercial partnerships.
- Deep understanding of major DSPs and their role in discovery, fan engagement, and revenue.
- Proven record of developing and executing streaming or digital consumption strategies.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting streaming, sales, and audience data.
- Experience with music analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Chartmetric, DSP dashboards).
- Understanding of algorithmic discovery, editorial and user‑generated playlists, and engagement mechanics.
- Experience managing or mentoring team members and collaborating cross‑functionally.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑pace digital environment.
- Curiosity and passion for emerging streaming trends.
- Strong passion for music; experience with artists, managers, and labels is an asset.
Required to work in‑office 4 days a week.
