Senior Manager, Global Partner PR and Talent, Bell Media
Bell Media is seeking a collaborative and detail‑oriented Senior Manager of Global Partner PR and Talent who will be seconded to support Sphere Abacus, a Bell Media company which acquires and distributes a diverse slate of premium multi‑genre programming for the global content market, to lead the international amplification of its premier titles. Acting as the critical bridge between domestic commissioners and international partners, you will steward and adapt established domestic PR narratives for global markets.
This is a pivotal role for a communications specialist who excels at relationship management, talent coordination, and the seamless execution of global publicity campaigns.
The role is based in Toronto, Ontario and will report to the Global Director, Marketing and Communications, Sphere Abacus, in London, England.
Key ResponsibilitiesWhat You’ll Do
- Adapt and Scale Global PR Strategy: Take established domestic PR frameworks and adapt them to support international partners, ensuring brand consistency and narrative alignment across all global markets.
- Coordinate International Rollouts: Partner closely with the Senior Manager of Global Partner Marketing and Assets to support the implementation of detailed international launch plans for our key series.
- Execute Talent Logistics: Coordinate and manage international talent logistics, balancing global promotional requests for cast and creators with domestic PR schedules and ongoing production constraints.
- Cultivate Key Relationships: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with international media partners, domestic production teams, and talent representatives.
- Manage Communications Flow: Serve as the primary gatekeeper and facilitator for all global PR and talent‑related inquiries, streamlining communication between domestic teams and international outlets to ensure a cohesive global strategy.
- A university degree, communications degree, or equivalent, with a preferred minimum of ten years of experience in the media, communications, or PR industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high‑priority projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to liaise professionally with partners, producers, and internal/external contacts.
- Demonstrated history of building strong working relationships with media and business partners.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
- Strong initiative and ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Highly detailed‑oriented with excellent organizational, administrative, and project prioritization skills.
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
