Client Management Team
The Client Management team functions as our clients’ strategic advisors and partners. They represent our clients’ needs and build efficient cross‑functional teams to deliver on all work flowing through the Agency to deliver against those needs. They are responsible for ensuring all the work aligns with the clients’ brand, objectives and budgets. They will work with all departments to ensure that client’s expectations are met and that the agency operates at profitable levels.
They are responsible for maintaining and growing the client relationship. They are responsible for identifying new opportunities for the agency to pursue that will help drive growth. Ultimately, the function accountable for all aspects of the client experience throughout the entire project cycle. Accountable for delivering the in‑year fiscal plan.
Position SummaryAs an Account Supervisor you will own and/or support the day‑to‑day client relationship on a defined portion of business, potentially with multiple clients across multiple categories/industries. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of client service and identifying and acting on key business insights that will drive results for both the agency and your client partners. You will lead internal cross‑functional teams to deliver on all work flowing through the Agency.
This role is key to ensure client’s expectations are met and the agency operates at profitable levels, with an emphasis on project delivery excellence.
You are by nature a collaborative, savvy and curious integrated marketer who thrives on tackling business challenges from a holistic perspective. This role requires detail orientation and a proven strength in strategically minded project management. You have a proven track record for playing a key role in delivering client projects on time and in full. You must be able to work effectively within cross‑functional teams to solve unique challenges.
You must have the ability to perform well under pressure, clearly outline deadlines, manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously, and bring energy and creativity to work each day. Most importantly, you have a passion for building brands, big ideas and of course, creativity.
Detailed Responsibilities Project Orchestration and Execution- Lead kick‑off meetings and conduct rigorous follow‑up to stay on the critical path, ensuring communication of project status to all key stakeholders on a regular established basis; work collaboratively with all functions throughout the life of a project
- Lead and/or support developing project SOWs, budgets, WBS, Trackers, and Reports & Reconciliation
- Timely development of key client contact reports
- Gathering and organizing all client‑related assets
- Support the development of client presentations
- Display ability to respond quickly and appropriately to client requests
- Begin to demonstrate confidence and industry expertise as one of the day‑to‑day voices of the Agency
- Acquire in‑depth knowledge of, and be conversant in client’s business – their key issues, competitive situation and industry trends
- Anticipate potential relationship or expectation issues, advising upper management in time to act proactively
- Elevates risks and works collaboratively with the team to build solutions
- Display marketing curiosity and willingness to learn
- Stay abreast of category/industry activities and market dynamics including competitive intelligence
- With support, help deconstruct client brand and business challenges in order to develop actionable strategies that are then translated into actionable creative briefs.
- Help identify and support the organic development of incremental business within existing client portfolios
Must‑have:
- Minimum of 6‑7 years of marketing experience.
- At least 3‑4 years in a client‑facing services role in an agency environment
- Must have Marketing Agency
experience - those without marketing agency experience will not be considered - Strong understanding of strategic marketing and business principles
- Strong understanding of the current media landscape and understand how to apply that understanding to holistic and integrated solutions for brands.
- Proven success leading team‑based projects
- Strong planning and organizational skills: time‑management, working to critical paths, budgeting, facilitating meetings, multi‑tasking, attention to detail, follow up, etc.
- Love building relationships and getting to know clients
Nice‑to‑have:
- Client‑side experience is considered a significant asset, particularly within Tier 1 brand or Financial Institution
- Experience working on large consumer‑facing brands
