Sales Intern – Internship (Fixed Term – 4 Months)

Term Start: August 2026
Term End: December 2026
Hybrid work (Toronto): Predominantly remote with in-office 1 day per quarter

The Sales Intern will be a member of the Kao Canada Sales team, helping execute key projects across our retail partnerships. You will have a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in customer relationship management, sales reporting and analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will work closely with internal teams such as marketing, trade marketing, finance, and supply chain, and gain exposure to working with major Canadian retailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Sales team in preparing materials and presentations for customer meetings and business reviews
  • Help with sales reporting, tracking promotional activities, and analyzing retail performance data
  • Help manage item set‑up processes and maintain up‑to‑date product and pricing information for retail partners
  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing to execute retail programs and ensure seamless execution in‑store and online
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs to support key account plans and initiatives
  • Contribute to ad‑hoc projects and process improvements that support the team's goals
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in university studies in Business, Commerce, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerPoint; familiarity with data tools such as Power BI is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast‑paced environment
  • Passion for the beauty industry and interest in consumer goods and retail
