Position: Content Strategist & Writer, DXCS (Editorial & Content Strategy Focus) at Burson Global

Role

Content Strategist & Writer on the DXCS team (Editorial & Content Strategy focus) responsible for digital editorial strategy on key client accounts, ensuring content is optimized for search and answer engines (SEO & GEO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategize and plan online content to meet business goals and user needs.
  • Create editorial calendars, content outlines, distribution plans, and extensions across channels and formats (web, social, email).
  • Write clear, compelling, accessible copy across varied formats, reflecting brand tone of voice.
  • Conduct interviews with executives and subject‑matter experts as required.
  • Lead copy development in partnership with digital and social media specialists, designers and video producers.
  • Partner with internal SEO & GEO specialists to search‑optimize content for discoverability and LLM extraction.
  • Leverage data and measurement insights to inform content strategies, planning, topics, and editorial themes.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 4–5+ years in content strategy, editorial, digital content, copywriting, communications, or related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels.
  • Experience developing content for websites, email, social media, and other digital platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices; experience with GEO and AI‑optimized content is an asset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including designers, social media specialists, and digital strategists.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field, or equivalent experience.
