Our banking client is seeking a Marketing Manager (5+ years) to lead credit card marketing campaigns using Agile methodology and email marketing initiatives- 41396

Story Behind the Need
Business group: CB Marketing and Digital Growth
Drive sustained and profitable revenue growth through the planning, development and delivery of credit engagement marketing programs.
Project/Initiatives:
Credit card portfolio –As a member of the Marketing Planning and Delivery practice (within Canadian Banking Marketing), drives full-funnel marketing planning, and delivery of credit card campaigns that enable the Canadian Bank to achieve its strategic objectives.
Contributes to the overall success of Marketing ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Typical Day in Role:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Supports marketing objectives to set and refine annual and quarterly marketing plans
- Plan, project manage and execute customer driven action plans and marketing programs through agile and squad-led methodology
- Monitors consumer sentiment, market conditions, competitive activity, and short-term-demand opportunity on an ongoing basis to increase agility of planning processes and flexibility of budget deployment.
- Leads and executes engagement strategies across the credit card portfolio, including rule-based, segment focused hyper targeting programs across multiple channels owned and paid channels and promote a seamless client experience
- Analyzes, and leverages insights drawn from market research and data analysis to establish the strategic direction of benefit-led campaign briefs.
- Applies a deep understanding of Bank-wide and business partner needs, ensuring full buy-in (agreement) and participation of multiple business, channel, and marketing partners in a highly matrixed environment.
- Establish efficient workflows that help ensure clarity of roles and accountability for team members across both practices.
- Supports development and deployment of creative assets, agnostic of media channel and across all touchpoints.
- Creates, maintains and updates new product marketing collateral such as brochures etc. Also, supports client engagement events and leads relationship with events team to drive product objectives.
- Champions proper usage of the Scotiabank brand in Canada, in full compliance with global brand guidelines and Scotiabank’s visual identity continuum under the direction of Scotiabank.

Must-have requirements
- 5–8 years of experience working with creative agencies and leading email marketing initiatives.
- Exposure to the Agile methodology
- Expertise in driving performance growth across multiple dimensions and KPIs
Nice-To-Have
Skills:
- Experience in credit cards or the financial services industry
- knowledge of the marketing tech stack ( AJO, Responsys, Figma)
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design or related field preferred.
