Community Engagement Specialist YMCA

This full-time contract role involves supporting the Outreach and Community Relations Coordinator to build engaging relationships with community organizations. You will create and manage content across various platforms, from webinars to social media, working to increase both community engagement and client outreach. Play a vital part in planning and executing events that connect and inform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement annual outreach plans and marketing strategies

• Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders

• Produce content for social media, blogs, and webinars

• Maintain the NSC Knowledge Management System

• Manage logistics for online and in-person events

Requirements:

• University degree or diploma in related field

• Minimum one year experience in community engagement

• Proven community relations and outreach skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong proficiency in social media tools and content development
