Community Engagement Specialist

Be a catalyst for change in Toronto as a Community Engagement and Content Specialist with YMCA of Greater Toronto. Help connect with community organizations and enhance outreach through digital strategies.

In this full-time role, you will support the Outreach and Community Relations Coordinator by building vital community relationships and implementing innovative engagement strategies. Your responsibilities include creating content for various platforms, managing the Knowledge Management System, and coordinating impactful events. This position is ideal for someone passionate about community involvement and content creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop annual outreach and engagement strategies

• Build partnerships with local organizations and service providers

• Produce and manage content for webinars and social platforms

• Coordinate in-person and online community events

• Maintain an updated contact database for stakeholders

Requirements:

• University degree or diploma in related field

• Minimum one year working with newcomers

• Proven experience in community relations and engagement

• Strong social media and content creation skills

• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences
