Director of Communications at IESO

Lead impactful communications for the IESO as the Director of Corporate Communications, driving strategic narratives while collaborating with senior leadership. Ensure effective stakeholder engagement and protect corporate reputation in this vital role.
In the Corporate Relations and Strategic Engagement Business Unit, the Director will spearhead internal and external communications strategies. This position demands a leader with extensive experience in public affairs, brand management, and crisis communications. You will engage with various stakeholders and oversee teams that maintain IESO's strong reputation and address key issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop proactive communications strategies to enhance brand reputation

• Collaborate with experts to ensure audience engagement and satisfaction

• Manage crisis communications and devise impactful response plans

• Oversee corporate communications, including media relations and marketing

• Administer a $10 million budget to maximize communications effectiveness
Requirements:

• 10-15 years of senior leadership experience

• Strong background in communications and public affairs

• Proven ability to manage relationships and cultivate industry connections

• Extensive knowledge of the IESO and Ontario electricity market

• University degree required;
Bachelor's preferred
