Strategic Communications Senior Manager

Drive clear, compelling narratives at Ontario Teachers' as a Senior Manager of External Communications. This role seeks a confident communicator skilled in corporate communications and media relations.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee the development of the external communications strategy that enhances the Ontario Teachers' brand. Engage with investment teams on complex messaging and serve as a spokesperson to the media. You will also support junior staff, contributing to their growth in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute communications strategies to elevate brand presence

• Serve as advisor on investment communication strategies

• Shape impactful announcements and media outreach

• Monitor trends and stakeholder sentiment for proactive engagement

• Work with marketing to align communications
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English or related field

• 8-10 years in corporate communication or financial services

• Exceptional writing and editing capabilities

• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams

• Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple projects
