Senior External Communications Manager

Lead Ontario Teachers' external communications as a Senior Manager, using expertise to craft impactful narratives and strategies. This role requires strong communication skills and is ideal for seasoned professionals.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Senior External Communications Manager will develop and execute proactive communications strategies for brand enhancement. With a focus on investment messaging and media engagement, you will advise key groups and manage communications around sensitive topics while overseeing annual reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop brand communication strategies for Ontario Teachers’.

• Advise investment groups on messaging and media engagement.

• Shape announcements for new investments globally.

• Manage reputation and mitigate communication risks.

• Collaborate on corporate communication initiatives.
Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Communications or related fields.

• Minimum 8-10 years in corporate communications.

• Strong writing and strategic thinking skills.

• Experience in financial services or pension funds.

• Ability to work with senior executives.
