What Is the Opportunity

Aecon’s Corporate Affairs team leads award‑winning strategic external communications initiatives, campaigns and materials in support of Aecon’s overall public relations and reputation management strategy. With a roster of exciting infrastructure projects across North America and beyond, we lead the way for Aecon when it comes to issues management, social and digital media, project and stakeholder communications, media relations and executive communications.

We’re a high‑energy and hard‑working team with a significant portfolio that will always keep you engaged in meaningful and diverse work.

What You’ll Do Here
  • Support the Corporate Affairs team on a broad range of communications initiatives with a special focus on public relations and external communications.
  • Craft communications materials including news releases, articles, digital content, letters and speeches.
  • Identify and evaluate PR opportunities, prepare key messages, and staff media events.
  • Utilize media savvy to plan, execute and oversee external communications strategies, including supporting talent acquisition and recruitment campaigns.
  • Monitor, identify and implement trending and innovative digital and traditional communications tools, while managing Aecon’s digital and social media presence.
