Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Technology and Lifecycle, the Marketing Automation Specialist will deploy high-performing email campaigns and automated customer journeys that drive engagement, lead conversion, and business growth. Working closely with campaign owners, the incumbent will translate marketing objectives into scalable, data-driven programs using AI, experimentation, and automation. This hands-on role is responsible for building and optimizing email campaigns, administering forms and lead workflows, and enhancing the end-to-end customer lifecycle experience to maximize campaign performance.

The expected base salary range for this role is $57,000 to $80,000 . Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

What you'll do
  • Configure, deploy, and optimize email campaigns, customer journeys, and automated workflows that support acquisition, nurturing, engagement, and retention objectives.
  • Partner with marketing campaign owners and stakeholders to execute email campaigns, customer journeys, and automated marketing programs aligned with campaign requirements.
  • Monitor campaign and journey performance through analytics, A/B testing, and reporting; identify opportunities to improve engagement, conversion rates, and customer experience.
  • Leverage marketing automation platforms and AI-enabled capabilities to support personalization, campaign execution, and operational efficiency.
  • Administer and maintain forms, lead management processes, and nurture programs that support lead generation, qualification, and progression through the customer lifecycle.
  • Validate audience segmentation, campaign targeting, and data quality to ensure accurate, compliant customer communications.
  • Continuously improve campaign processes, templates, and execution standards to increase efficiency and program effectiveness.
  • Ensure campaigns meet regulatory requirements, accessibility standards, brand guidelines, and data privacy policies.
  • Perform quality assurance testing, troubleshoot issues, coordinate deployment timelines, and ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.
What you bring
  • College diploma in Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing with a focus on email marketing and marketing automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder.
  • Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot), including lead nurturing, lead scoring, and campaign automation.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, including personalization, A/B testing, deliverability, and customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience building and optimizing automated customer journeys and multi-step nurture programs.
  • Proficiency in SQL for audience segmentation and data validation, along with AMPscript and basic HTML and CSS for template updates, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
  • Experience working with CRM and customer data platforms, including audience management and customer segmentation.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud or other customer data platforms, including audience creation and activation.
  • Experience developing and deploying lead management workflows and forms.
  • Experience using campaign performance data, testing methodologies, and customer insights to optimize marketing outcomes.
