About the Role
Hobbiesville is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team and take an active role in growing our online presence, driving sales, and managing our digital advertising campaigns.
This is a hands-on position for someone who can move quickly, think creatively, and make decisions based on real-time performance. You should be comfortable creating campaigns, monitoring results, adjusting strategies, and producing ad assets as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimize advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, Facebook, and Instagram .
Monitor campaign performance, budgets, ROAS, conversions, CTR, and other key metrics.
Create, test, and optimize ad campaigns based on performance.
Develop and maintain advertising creative, including images, graphics, copy, promotions, and campaign assets .
Identify underperforming campaigns and make adjustments quickly to improve results.
Work with the team to develop promotional campaigns around new products, sales, releases, and seasonal events.
Stay up to date with changes to advertising platforms, targeting options, AI tools, and digital marketing trends.
Utilize ChatGPT and emerging AI advertising tools to assist with campaign development, copywriting, creative concepts, research, and optimization.
Work independently and on the fly when campaigns or promotions need to be created or changed quickly.
Analyze marketing data and provide recommendations based on campaign performance.
Maintain accurate campaign structure, tracking, audiences, creative, and reporting.
Collaborate with the e-commerce and management teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience managing digital advertising campaigns.
Strong experience with Google Ads .
Strong experience with Meta Ads, Facebook Ads, and Instagram Ads .
Proven ability to create, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns independently.
Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics and performance marketing.
Experience creating and managing digital ad creative and marketing assets.
Strong copywriting and creative problem-solving skills.
Experience using ChatGPT and AI tools as part of a marketing workflow.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative and identify opportunities without needing constant direction.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage ads , but actively looks for ways to improve them.
You should be comfortable seeing a campaign underperforming in the morning, figuring out why, creating new assets or messaging, making changes, and monitoring the results throughout the day.
Experience in e-commerce, retail, collectibles, trading cards, gaming, or hobby products is an asset.
