In this regular, full-time position, the Marketing and Philanthropy Officer will engage with various audiences while developing tactics aligned with VON’s priorities. Key responsibilities include crafting a monthly e-newsletter, coordinating social media content, and managing donor databases like Raisers Edge. Your expertise will help amplify VON’s mission through strategic communications and fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead creation and distribution of monthly e-newsletter
• Develop employee communications and briefing notes
• Research profiles for potential donors and grants
• Coordinate creation and updates of web content
• Monitor industry news and trends for insights
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of fundraising experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMS tools
• Strong communication and proofreading skills
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics tools
