Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Project Coordinator to oversee key organizational initiatives and ensure smooth execution across departments. The Project Coordinator will coordinate timelines, resources, and deliverables for advocacy campaigns, community events, sponsorship projects, and marketing and operational programs nationwide.
This role requires a proactive professional who can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, liaise effectively between internal teams and external partners, and ensure that every project reflects B’nai Brith Canada’s values of integrity, action, and community impact.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage detailed project plans, ensuring all timelines and milestones are met
- Coordinate logistics for national programs and events, including communications, sponsorship, and partner engagement
- Track budgets, deliverables, and progress reports for ongoing initiatives
- Work closely with leadership to align project objectives with organizational strategy
- Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and community partners to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Prepare internal updates, briefing notes, and post-project reports for senior management and stakeholders
- Identify risks, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain clear lines of communication across teams
- Support the Operations Director in monitoring key initiatives such as fundraising campaigns, advocacy drives, and community programs
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, communications, or a related field (PMP certification an asset)
- 3–5 years of project coordination or management experience, preferably in the nonprofit or community sector
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft 365 Suite)
- Experience managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships
