Position: Employment Outreach Counselor for Summer 2026
Join Newcomer Women’s Services Toronto as an Employment Outreach Counselor this summer. This full-time, in-person role is focused on supporting youth with employment services and outreach initiatives.

Set to commence on July 2, 2026, this temporary position is ideal for candidates aged 15-30 interested in community support. As the first point of contact, you will assist with job readiness workshops and engage with local employers, enhancing job-seeking skills and opportunities for clients in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients seeking employment services warmly

• Assist in eligibility screenings and client intake processes

• Facilitate job readiness and employment skills workshops

• Research job opportunities and update internal job postings

• Support community outreach and employer engagement initiatives

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a relevant post-secondary education program

• Strong interest in community outreach and employment services

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Comfortable using digital tools like Microsoft Office

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
