Join United Way Greater Toronto as a Senior Major Gift Officer. This role focuses on developing relationships with high net worth donors to secure transformational gifts for community enhancement.

The Senior Philanthropy Officer will report to the Senior Lead, Individual Donor Relations, and will develop strategies for major individual giving. You will manage high net worth donor relationships through a structured process of discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Your expertise in major gift cycles will play a crucial role in enhancing financial support for community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with high net worth donors and prospects

• Plan engaging donor touchpoints to increase commitments

• Prepare written materials related to donor management

• Collaborate with the campaign team to align funding priorities

• Maximize the CRM tool for effective fundraising plans

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in major gift fundraising

• Proven relationship management skills

• Experience with senior volunteers

• Familiarity with planned giving vehicles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
