Head, Program Development, Quality & Impact

Apply for the Head, Program Development, Quality & Impact role at Girl Guides of Canada.

Girl Guides of Canada (GGC) is the leading organization for girls and women in Canada, with over 76,000 members across the country. Guiding provides a safe environment that invites girls and youth to challenge themselves, find their voice, meet new friends, have fun, and make a difference in the world. Girl Guides’ innovative programming is helping the next generation of girls across Canada to become confident, courageous, and resourceful leaders.

As the Head of Program Development, Quality and Impact, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and advancing national youth programming at Girl Guides of Canada. You will oversee the design and continuous improvement of inclusive, engaging, and evidence‑based programs that align with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. This role leads the development of a multi‑year program strategy, ensures consistent program delivery across Canada, and embeds a culture of safety, evaluation, and continuous learning.

You will also champion youth advocacy, guide risk management practices, and foster partnerships to amplify program impact. Working closely with volunteers, staff, and external stakeholders, you will drive measurable outcomes and position GGC as a leader in positive youth development.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with 7–10 years of senior experience in a national not‑for‑profit youth organization, ideally holding a Master’s degree in youth development, education, or a related field. You bring expertise in program development, evaluation, and risk management, along with a deep commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. Most importantly, you are passionate about creating transformative experiences for girls and youth.

At GGC, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on communities across Canada and help shape a better world for girls. If you are ready to lead change and empower the next generation, we invite you to reach out.

GGC has partnered with leadership advisory firm Odgers Canada for this recruitment. For more information, please contact Andreanne Gendron of Odgers or submit your resume and letter of interest online to  by 5 December 2025.

Girl Guides of Canada is an equal opportunity employer. In accordance with the Accessible Canada Act, 2019 and all applicable provincial accessibility standards, upon request, accommodation will be provided by both Odgers and Girl Guides of Canada throughout the recruitment, selection and/or assessment process to applicants with disabilities. Odgers is deeply committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all the work that we do.
