Elevate community support as a Senior Program Leader with Toronto Community Housing. Drive social and recreational initiatives while engaging residents in environmental conservation.
This temporary position requires a strong focus on community-based programs, ideal for someone with significant experience in program planning and implementation. You will work alongside the Program Coordinator to meet residents' cultural, educational, and social needs, ensuring impactful outreach and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify residents' needs for social activities
• Develop and implement community programs
• Promote TCHC programs and initiatives
• Evaluate ongoing program effectiveness
• Supervise program staff and community space
Requirements:
• Experience in community-based settings
• Strong program planning and evaluation skills
• Effective organizational and communication abilities
• Background in community outreach initiatives
• First Aid certification preferred or to be obtained
