Elevate Hillel Ontario’s fundraising initiatives as a Senior Development Officer. This hybrid role focuses on donor cultivation, relationship management, and executing fundraising strategies.

As a Senior Development Officer reporting to the VP of Advancement, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing Hillel Ontario's philanthropic efforts. Your responsibilities will include managing donor relationships and supporting annual campaigns, while inspiring engagement in our mission. The position demands a proactive approach to building meaningful connections within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and solicit a portfolio of donors

• Manage fundraising campaigns and ensure follow-up

• Identify major-gift prospects and increase annual giving

• Conduct prospect research for your donor portfolio

• Engage parents, alumni, and long-term donors effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in fundraising

• Proven major gift solicitation success

• Experience in campaign management across channels

• Proficient with donor management systems

• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
