OpeningsMia Aesthetics has multiple openings for Aesthetics Surgery RN Specialists across the U.S.A. and in key markets. Depending on current business needs, hires may relocate to Las Vegas, Chicago, Austin, Houston, Baltimore, Charlotte, Tampa, Atlanta, etc.
Hourly Rate Potential$38‑$45 per hour depending on job experience and work location.
Relocation Assistance- Providing Relocation Assistance (upon having all pre‑requisites met)
- Hold a valid and unexpired Canadian or Mexican passport
- Pass the NCLEX exam
- Obtain a Registered Nurse license with the state board of nursing in the location selected (Mia Aesthetics will guide selected candidates through this process)
- Participate in primary care of patients who completed cosmetic surgery in a clinic environment, including post‑procedure care and pain management.
- Identify and manage complications from wound and skin‑care management.
- Identify drainage requirements (knowledge of lymphatic drainage a plus).
- Document and carry out pre‑/post‑operative instructions given by the Surgeon and record all patient information from pre‑op to post anesthesia care.
- Provide the Surgeon and/or Anesthesiologist with detailed information on observed complications.
- Collaborate with medical staff and healthcare team members in developing coordinated outcomes and interventions regarding patient progress and care.
- Assist with nursing activities during emergencies.
- Educate and provide instruction to patients and family members on post‑operative care.
- Effectively organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel for patient care management.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of postoperative areas.
- Assist in inventory of supplies, drugs, and equipment to maintain availability and stock levels.
- Follow established HIPAA policies and procedures at all times.
- Assume accountability and responsibility for attendance and timely completion of mandatory training programs, unit‑specific requirements (e.g., CEUs, ACLS, BLS), and unit meetings.
- Registered Nurse degree.
- Advanced knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across various audiences.
- Superior listening skills and quick comprehension of instructions in emergency situations.
- Ability to synthesize patient data and implement an appropriate action plan (strong critical thinking and good judgment).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Ability to obtain RN license in the state where you will be working within 60 days of receiving an offer.
- Hold and maintain active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in an out‑patient surgery environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
$38‑$50 per hour USD.
