We are in search of a passionate Registered Practical Nurse to oversee hemodialysis treatments within an inter-professional team. Your duties will include patient assessment, health teaching, and comprehensive documentation. You will also manage the setup and ensure the smooth functioning of dialysis machines, addressing any abrupt patient changes promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Start and stop hemodialysis treatments per patient needs

• Complete thorough assessments and document health information

• Set up and monitor hemodialysis machines with precision

• Respond to dynamic patient care situations effectively

• Partake in quality improvement projects within the unit

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Active B.C.L.S. Certification

• Minimum 1 year of hemodialysis experience required

• Preferred 2 years of acute care nursing experience

• Willingness to pursue Nephrology training
