This part-time position is ideal for passionate and experienced Oncology Nurses. With a background in DeSouza courses, you’ll coordinate and deliver treatments while ensuring patient safety and education throughout their journey. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key to enhancing the community’s health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee safe chemotherapy and biotherapy administration
• Educate patients and families on care plans
• Collaborate for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation through computerized systems
• Mentor and lead nursing colleagues and students
Requirements:
• Valid RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 2 years of oncology experience required
• DeSouza Certification in Chemotherapy is essential
• Excellent interpersonal communication and assessment skills
• Proven organizational skills and self-reliance
